On July 20, 2019, the “Rivard Production” film crew from Saint-Boniface will be on site in Caraquet to produce a report on ATV enthusiasts in Francophone regions outside Quebec. The “Club VTT Acadien” will be organizing an ATV run for the occasion and is inviting all ATV enthusiasts to go there to increase the visibility of ATVing with the government. During the run, a few people will be interviewed. The high-rating program will be broadcast this fall on the TVA Network.

The run will be about 90 km. The start and finish will be at “Le Chalet du Capitaine”, located at 179 Lanteigne Road in Saint-Simon, NB. Return is expected at approximately 5:30 pm.

Do not forget to bring some snacks and beverages. Also, the services of a mobile canteen will be available all along the trail. Subsequently, a canteen will be open for people who want to have supper after the run.

The registration, which will cost $ 10 per ATV, will be from 8:00 am to 10:00 am with a first group leaving at 10:00 am and a second at 10:30 am. There will be several door prizes and 10 cash prizes to be drawn.

  • 1st prize: $ 500
  • 2nd prize: $ 400
  • 3rd prize: $ 300
  • 4th prize: $ 200
  •  And $ 100 for each of the winners of the 6th to the 10th prize.

There will be several ATV dealers on site to demonstrate and talk about their products:

  • CF Moto from Montreal
  • Quali-Tec Garage from Inkerman (CF Moto)
  • Lanteigne Sport from Caraquet (Can-Am)
  • LJ PATTERSON Sales & Service LTD from Beresford (Arctic Cat)
  • Brunswick Power Sport from Beresford (Polaris)
  • West End Sport from Beresford (Yamaha)

For people who want to spend the weekend in Caraquet, there are three (3) accommodations with direct access to the trails. These are “Camping Colibri sur Mer” (Caraquet), “Hotel Super 8” (Caraquet), and “Chalets de la Plage” (Bas-Caraquet). Please take note that the “Camping Colibri sur Mer” will offer shuttle services for the participants of the run who would like to continue their evening in the town of Caraquet.

Yvon Duguay, the President of the “Club VTT Acadien”, is sending an open invitation to all members of the NB ATV Federation and all ATV enthusiasts to participate in this run. There will be one-day trail permits for sale for those who want to participate but do not have a trail permit. Help us demonstrate to members of the NB Government and the Department of Tourism how many of us love the sport of ATVing and let’s take part in this wonderful promotion of our sport for the Grand Caraquet region! Come in large numbers!
