Meeting on Joint-Use Trails

On October 29, 2010, Federation President Daniel Boucher and General Manager Jacques Poirier attended a meeting in Fredericton on joint-use trails.

The purpose of the meeting was to establish criteria to measure the success of the joint-use trail in the Le Goulet area in the Acadian Peninsula. Also in attendance were representatives of the New Brunswick Federation of Snowmobile Clubs, the Department of Natural Resources, and the Off-Road Vehicle Enforcement Unit.

Tim Clarke elected President of the Saint John ATV Club

Congratulations to Tim Clarke newly elected President of the Saint John ATV Club!

Tim was previously a Director for Region 5. He was also President of the Saint John ATV Club a few years ago.

Region 3 Meeting

On November 1st, 2010, Federation President Daniel Boucher and General Manager Jacques Poirier attended Region 3 meeting in Caraquet.

The two Directors' positions for Region 3 are vacant. Daniel Chiasson resigned. No candidate was find and elected for the positions.

The following topics were added to the agenda:

  • DOT Policy
  • Joint-use trails
  • Club in the Bertrand area

In addition, the following topics were also discussed with the delegates:

Regional Master Plan

  • Definition of the Layers of the Trails on the Maps
  • Access Plan
  • Phase 3 - Establish a Development Plan

  • Phase 5 - Public Consultatio
