Crown Lands Access for ATV Trail Development


On November 4, 2010, Federation President sent a letter to Hon. Bruce Northrup, Minister of Natural Resources, to request a meeting to discuss land access on Crown Lands.

President Boucher requested the Minister's assistance to find a solution to the approval process which is currently slow and tedious.

Points of Sale for ATV Trail Passes


In addition to Club Presidents and their Executive Committee members, more than 70 additional points of sale were identified in 2009 to sell our ATV Trail Passes. These points of sale are on our website.
 
We are asking our Clubs to review these points of sale and confirm to the Federation Office by December 10, 2010 whether or not changes should be made for 2010-11 to the points of sale of their respective clubs.

On November 2, 2010, Federation President Daniel Boucher and General Manager Jacques Poirier attended Region 6 meeting in Musquash.

David Hatt was re-elected as Director for the Region. Congratulations David! The other Director for Region 6 is Donald St.-Pierre.

Meeting on Joint-Use Trails

On October 29, 2010, Federation President Daniel Boucher and General Manager Jacques Poirier attended a meeting in Fredericton on joint-use trails.

The purpose of the meeting was to establish criteria to measure the success of the joint-use trail in the Le Goulet area in the Acadian Peninsula. Also in attendance were representatives of the New Brunswick Federation of Snowmobile Clubs, the Department of Natural Resources, and the Off-Road Vehicle Enforcement Unit.
